Al-Hakeem visits the museum of civilization in Mosul
On Sunday 12th of February, 2012. Sayeed Amar a-Hakeem, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, visited the Museum of Civilization in the northern city of Mosul, during his tour in the province of Nineveh
His Eminence toured into the departments of the museum, praising the deep cultural and historical of the province of Nineveh, describing it as the City of Prophets
Sayeed Amar al-Hakeem stressed the importance of prospecting for archaeological sites in the province in order to highlight its cultural and historical importance, which represents a natural extension of Iraq's history and its ancient civilization
