Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), congratulated His Excellency President Chi Jin Bing on his election as President of the Popular Republic of China. This came up in a congratulatory letter which His Eminence sent to the President of the Popular Republic of China on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
His Eminence expressed his wishes for the success of the President of the Popular Republic of China in bearing the burdens of the high responsibility and to achieve more progress and prosperity for the Chinese people, expressing his confidence in the necessity of enhancing the bilateral relations between Iraq and Chine in order to serve the interests of both Iraqi and Chinese nations.
