The President of Iraq congratulates holding the founding conference of the AL-Hikma National Movement and confirms the readiness of the Kurdistan Regional Government for dialogue with Baghdad
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received presidetn of Iraq His Excellency Mr. Fuad Masoum Wednesday 6/12/2017 to discuss the latest political and security situation and challenges facing Iraq.
His Excellency congratulated Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim for holding the founding conference of the AL-Hikma National Movement, noted the importance of these conferences and their high level of organizing, and praised the transparent election process that took place during the conference and commending the elections results and it societal diversity.
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim and the President of the Republic stressed the need for a comprehensive dialogue based on the Constitution, the law and decisions of the Federal Court as it represent the best means to resolve all issues, His Excellency stressed the readiness of the Kurdistan Regional Government to open a dialogue with Baghdad in order to resolved all unsettled issues and disagreements.
His Excellency Mr. Fuad Masoum and his eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed the need to hold elections on schedule, abide by constitutional standards and deadlines and resolve all obstacles facing the elections.
