Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, attended New Year's Liturgy at the Armenian Orthodox Church - St Gregory The Illuminator in Baghdad, 6/1/2018
His eminence congratulated the celebrants for Christmas and New Year, noted that the diversity of Iraq is an enriching source for Iraq, stressed the importance of maintaining this diversity as Christians in Iraq is additional quality and an important component to Iraq away from quantity aspects.
His eminence stressed that Iraq is close to reaping the fruits of its patience and the sacrifices of its sons from of all communities and components against the worst gang known to history the terrorist groups of Daesh that had killed, captured and destroyed, plus the victory of Iraq over the challenges of national unity, and the challenge of social harmony and rejection of discrimination and sectarian discourse, his eminence called to maintain these victories and held everyone responsible to maintain them.
