Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met with a number of physically challenged people in Wasit province Wednesday 31/1/2018
His eminence called on all institutions of the Iraqi state to provide services to physically challenged people, noted that this group were not fairly treated, did not receive their rights or enough care when compared to other countries.
His eminence stressed the importance of observing the needs of physically challenged people when designing cities and government buildings and other structures, and should be a requirement of construction and in all facilities of life. His eminence emphasized that disability is in the minds and thoughts not in the body, asked the physically challenged people to handle disability as a test from God that will be rewarded, citing a number of physically challenged figures who reached the highest levels and were able to change the challenge into an opportunity for glory and development.
