Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives members of the High Electoral Commission to discuss the upcoming elections
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received members of the Independent High Commission for Elections Sunday 11/3/2018
His eminence discussed the upcoming election and the electronic counting mechanism as a feature that distinguishes the elections of 2018 from previous ones .
His eminence stressed to expedite showing results in order to block any forge attempts, noted that the electronic counting is a factors that drive people to participate on the grounds that votes are protected, pointed out that all this supports clarity and transparency of the elections .
His eminence pointed out that the upcoming elections are decisive and a turning point, will shift Iraq from instability to stability. Hence, the value of the Commission is in managing the election process, noted that the world today respects and observe the Iraqi experience, therefore the Commission should consider the gravity of the responsibility.
