Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim sent a cable of congratulations to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan marking being re-elected for presidency. His eminence stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations on the basis of cooperation and good-neighborliness, emphasized that reelection reflects ongoing Turkish people trust in Erdogan's tendencies and desire to continue understanding and joint cooperation efforts with neighboring countries in containing region crises arising from terrorist groups and finding solutions that serve peace and stability in the region and the world.
His eminence stressed Iraq's willingness to consolidate and develop bilateral relations to a better level on basis of solid constructive cooperation, good neighborliness and overcome the obstacles that hinder the achievement of sustainable development of the two neighboring countries and the welfare of our two brotherly peoples.
