Marking Student Day, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim calls giving attention to education, development of curriculum and teacher care
Head of the Reform and Reconstruction Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, visited a number of schools in Baghdad marking the occasion of the student day 22/11/2018
His eminence called on the government to pay special attention to the educational sector, because it is the basis for building society and protecting it from extremism, intolerance and crime.
His eminence congratulated students and faculty staff and teachers for this occasion that coincided with the anniversary of the birth of our great prophet (PBUH) and the birth of his grandson, Imam Jaafar Ibn Muhammad Sadiq (PBUH), emphasized that there are big and necessary tasks to build the educational and pedagogical situation, urging the educational system to take into account the benefits and requirements during studying stages and to build an educational system that commensurate with their needs.
His eminence stressed the importance of integration the five pillars (student, teacher, curriculum, school and parents), because when they integrate and cooperate with each other, will produce a mature and integrated educational process, indicated the need to develop creativity and innovation in students and provide a curriculum that motivate students and instill confidence in themselves,and pointed out the importance of raising students based on the concepts of democracy, dialogue, coexistence and acceptance of others.
His eminence stressed that building educational institutions, developing curriculum, sponsoring teachers and protecting them, providing them with financial and moral support, taking care of students and keeping pace with the development and technology in the educational process are necessary essential priorities to be carried out.
