Head of the Reform and Reconstruction Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, marking the International Anti-Corruption Day 9/12/2018 described corruption a serious scourge and another form of terrorism, and called to invest all the tools available to tackle corruption, and to form a higher anti-corruption council and coordinate efforts to achieve this important task.

His eminence pointed out that corruption hindered the course of investment and development, urged the the legislative and executive authorities to enact laws in order to control this grave danger, and that corruption had wasted public money and time and led to further economic deterioration and personal advantage at the expense of the higher public interest.
