The General Authority of the Reform and Reconstruction Alliance, held its third meeting at Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim office, meeting attended by members and leaders of the Alliance Saturday 22/12/2018
Conferees unanimously elected Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim to lead the Alliance, and then resumed discussing issues listed in meeting agenda.
Sheikh Sabah al-Sa'idi was elected head of the parliament bloc of Reform and Reconstruction Alliance and leader of rules of procedures, these steps were considered by the conferees as new steps taken by the Alliance in the path of institutionalization.
Meeting agenda covered budget, at which members of the General Authority stressed on reducing expenditures with consideration to the reported observations recorded, the budget was referred to a committee composed of Alliance's MPs of financial, economic, and energy committees and the government program follow up committee.
The Reform and Reconstruction Alliance rejected component or ethnic distribution of committees and stressed adoption of the same mechanism in distribution of ministers in the government in the formation of committees.
