Head of the Reform and Reconstruction Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, warned of plans to change the demographic structure of Quds as well as settlement expansion, called on international organizations, especially UNESCO, to shoulder their responsibilities.
His eminence considered celebrating International Quds Day, which will be on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, an important occasion to unite different sects of the Islamic religion and other members of the divine religions in a unified position aimed at rejecting the theft or monopoly of the first two Qibla and confiscating the right to claim them through the policy of fait accompli. And appreciated Islamic and free nations' keenness to participate in this great annual event called by the late Imam Khomeini "sanctify his soul" and made the issue of Quds a live issue in the conscious of the free world.
His eminence stressed that Quds will remain the identity of Islam and Muslims and their eternal capital, and that all attempts at counterfeiting will eventually collapse, warned of plans to change the demographic structure of Quds as well as settlement expansion and manipulation of Quds historic Islamic character, called on international organizations, particularly UNESCO To shoulder responsibility to address the issue.
His eminence also commended the oppressed Palestinian people and their blood-stained path of martyrdom, rejecting all forms of sale and confiscation of right and identity.
