Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives Salvation and Development Front delegation headed by Nujaifi, stresses the need for moderate discourse in Iraq
Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received head of the Salvation and Development Front, Mr. Osama al-Nujaifi and his accompanying delegation Thursday 19/9/2019
His eminence discussed developments of the political situation in Iraq and future challenges, and future entitlement and needed processes of political forces in the post-ISIS stage, particularly regarding moderate discourse that need to be adopted by all as a way forward and to prevent jeopardizing all achievements.
His eminence stressed the importance of preparing for the upcoming local elections, stressed the need to provide the appropriate conditions and present service programs, and the competitive criteria to serve the people through a national speech consistent with the challenges and aspirations of the Iraqi citizen.
His eminence listened to the vision of the Salvation and Development Front and commonalities between them and the Al-Hikma National Movement, noted that the opposition is a constitutional approach and a political right according to legal frameworks. The opposition has come a long way in forming the shadow government and the National Opposition front, and interrogations file in in line with the principle of correcting the path, diagnose mistakes and provide solutions.
