Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim with the US ambassador to discuss latest local and regional political issues
Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, at his office in Baghdad, received US Ambassador to Baghdad, HE Matthew Tueller Tuesday 24/9/2019
His eminence with Tueller discussed bilateral relations, and political situations in the region, stressed the importance of Iraq's openness to all and managing international and regional relations ina balanced approach, and achieve highest benefit and interest for Iraq.
His eminence reviewed with Tueller bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington, reiterated his rejection to the policy of economic siege and starvation of peoples, stressed the need for calmness and taking the region towards a calm zone for the interest of all.
His eminence explained the nature of the opposition pursued by the Al-Hikma National Movement, indicated that "it aims to correct the course of action and diagnose mistakes, and then push towards provision of services and eliminating corruption."
