Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim calls on all officials to shoulder their responsibilities to fight corruption and provide services
Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met with former President of Iraq, Dr. Fouad Masoum Wednesday 2/10/2019
His eminence called on all political and governmental action addressers in Iraq to shoulder their responsibilities in fighting corruption and improving the service and legislative reality through approving important laws, in particular laws of direct contact with the state structure and needs of the citizen. And reiterated condemning use of violence against protestors.
His eminence called for listening to the real demands and respond in accordance with the law and the Constitution, called for an immediate investigation of previous day events.
His eminence with Masoum discussed regional developments and the challenges facing Iraq in the next phase, both sides discussions covered relations between Baghdad and the Kurdistan region, stressed the importance of dialogue and to rely on law and Constitution to resolve unsettled issues.
