Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim with Speaker of the Council of Representatives to discuss demonstrators' demands and mechanism of response
Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mr. Mohammed al-Halbousi Tuesday 22/10/2019
His eminence with Halbousi discussed latest political situation, the demonstrations and demands of demonstrators.
His eminence renewed his support for peaceful demonstrations demanding rights, stressed on carrying out service demands related to jobs and basic services.
His eminence shouldered Iraqi Council of Representatives the responsibility of passing important laws needed for the reform process and needed by the government to respond to the demands, stressed the importance of dialogue between the political blocs and discuss all issues, including the amendment of the Constitution and the election law, and indicated that reform is a people and political demand.
