Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mr. Mohammed Al-Halbousi developments in the political situation and the demands of demonstrators and the required role of the Council of Representatives in this matter, emphasized on the role of Council of Representatives in passing laws that contribute in achieving a comprehensive reform in the country and then respond to the demands of the demonstrators.
His eminence stressed the importance of peaceful demonstration and maintaining public and private property, and cooperating with the security services, pointed to the need for a wide-range reforms at the service level, downsizing state institutions and eliminating corruption, through integration of efforts between the legislative and executive authorities in order to provide a decent life for the people.
