Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives Barzani and stresses concerted efforts of all to achieve demands of demonstrators

His eminence with Barzani discussed latest political situation in Iraq and the region, demonstrations and demands of demonstrators and ways to respond them in order to provide services and employment opportunities and contribute to the reform of the political process.
His eminence explained that the demands of demonstrators require concerted efforts of the political blocs, the demands are for reform and there all are not isolated from them, stressed the importance of finding a fair electoral system and amend some articles of the Constitution in line with the changes and in a way that guarantees the rights of all.
His eminence stressed the importance of demonstrating and investing the opportunity to get rid of some of the problems remnants of previous stages, reiterated demanding protection of demonstrators and bring who caused bloodshed to justice, and also protecting public and private interests, isolate infiltrators and their methods and those seeking to exploit demonstrations to achieve special agendas.
His eminence considered that there is a joint responsibility demands are addressed to the government and to the Parliament and judiciary system, particularly anti-corruption, it is necessary to hit the corrupted hard and use new methods to remedy corruption, and indicated that the window is open to resolve unsettled issues and stressed referring to the Constitution in order to resolve the problems through means of dialogue.
