Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State’s Power Alliance, called upon the relevant authorities to provide justice to the victims of mass graves and to perpetuate their memory in the school curricula and said on Sunday May 16, 2021, “On the National Day of Mass Graves, we remember those tragedies that our Iraqi people had went through in all their regions, sects and nationalities by the hands of The exterminated dictatorship era. and then the terrorist gangs that have completed the march on that dark path with a series of similar crimes that humanity. And to save the rights of those who’s been harmed by criminal acts and their relatives, we urge the relevant authorities to exert more efforts to get them justice, remember them and perpetuate their memory in educational curricula and official events, and make the world and its humanitarian and human rights organizations aware of the dimensions of these heinous crimes to ensure that they will not be repeated in the future.
