Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, considered Iraq’s restoration of 17,000 artifacts a triumph for the civilization of Mesopotamia.
His Eminence tweeted on Friday, July 30, 2021 “Iraq restores largest archaeological collection with 17,000 priceless cuneiform clay tablets from Washington. A joyous step and a victory for Mesopotamia." H.E. stressed the need for more effort, negotiations and dialogues to restore all of our antiquities that were smuggled after the change.
