Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives First Deputy Speaker, Reviews Legislative Role and Constitutional Entitlements
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received the First Deputy Speaker, Adnan Feihan, at His office in Baghdad, where both sides exchanged views on developments in Iraq’s political landscape and upcoming constitutional entitlements.
The meeting discussed ways to activate the Parliament’s work in both legislative and oversight capacities, emphasizing adherence to constitutional timelines to complete sovereign entitlements, thereby reinforcing political and institutional stability in the country.
H.E. also stressed the importance of unifying national positions, prioritizing the public interest, and supporting the government and local administrations to enable them to deliver services and achieve sustainable development.
