    Stressing that human rights start with caring for children, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives a number of members of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR)

    Ammar al-Hakim, Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), welcomed at his Baghdad office on Thursday, October 4, 2012 a number of members of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Iraq. During the meeting, a discussion of the human rights dossier went on. His Eminence stressed the importance of building man then building homelands, that building man starts from caring for the children, urging OHCHR delegation members to work towards protecting human rights, the most important gain for the New Iraq.
    On their part, members of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights praised the initiatives of Sayyid Ammar, including the development and care for children in Iraq as the basis for building the Iraqi individual.
