Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), welcomed at his Baghdad office on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, a delegation from the Islamic Fadhila Party headed by Dr. Hashim al-Hashimi, general secretary of the party. During the meeting, a discussion went on about the political situations in the country and the strong relations between the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq and the Islamic Fadhila Party and the means to develop them
There was also emphasis on the necessity of uniting the stances, activating the get-togethers and direct dialogues among various political forces and to be distant from media hype
On his part, the visiting delegation expressed its appreciation of the role and stance of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim in achieving the unity and the proximity of the Iraqi national forces through holding religious and national ceremonies that contribute to enhancing the ties of love and solidarity among all components of the Iraqi people
