    During his reception for the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Beecroft, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim says, “Constructive dialogue is the best way to transcend the political disputes

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), stressed that constructive dialogue and the arbitration through the constitution is the best way to transcend the political disputes. This came up when His Eminence received His Excellency Robert Stephen Beecroft, Ambassador of the United States of America to Iraq, on Thursday, November 29, 2012.
    During the meeting, the political developments in Iraq, the Arab and regional situations were discussed. There was emphasis on the necessity for pacification and for dialogue in order to resolve the crises in the region in a way which does not leave room for escalating the feud which does not serve the peoples of the entire region.
