Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim participates in throngs of pilgrims heading towards Kerbala on foot
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), participated on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in the march of thongs of pilgrims heading towards holy Kerbala from the Basra governorate on foot to commemorate the Arba`een anniversary of Imam al-Hussain (Ú).
His Eminence met, on his way, with crowds of pilgrims who rallied round him, welcoming His Eminence. He also delivered a speech to the crowds about the sacrifice of Imam al-Hussain, his household and companions for the sake of the sublime divine objectives and for liberating man from slavery and injustice.
