Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim meets senior religious authorities in al-Najaf al-Ashraf
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), met these senior religious authorities: the great religious authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammed Saeed al-Hakim, may his shade perpetuate, and Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammed Ishaq al-Fayyadh, may his shade perpetuate, in al-Najaf al-Ashraf on Saturday, December 29, 2012.
His Eminence discussed with these religious authorities the standing conditions in addition to the regional and global situation. His Eminence praised the role of the religious Marji`iyya (highest religious authority) throughout history in looking after the Iraqi people in particular and the Muslims in general, safeguarding their interests.
