    Japan's Ambassador appreciates role of His Eminence in calming the situations down and finding the quick solutions for the current political crisis.

    The new Japanese ambassador to Iraq has expressed his appreciation of the role played by Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), in calming things down and in finding the swift solutions needed for the current political crisis, emphasizing his country's support for the democratic experiment in Iraq.
    This came up when His Eminence welcomed on Thursday, January 17, 2013, Mr. Matsu Takaoka, the new Japanese ambassador to Iraq.
    During the meeting a discussion went on of the relations between both countries and the scopes of developing them in a way that serves the interests of both friendly nations.
    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim called for a heavier presence of the Japanese companies participating in Iraq's reconstruction especially with the stability of the political situation in the country in addition to the deeply rooted civilization and history in both countries.
    On his part, the Japanese ambassador expressed his appreciation of His Eminence's visit of Japan's wing in the Baghdad International Fair in its recent session, emphasizing his country's keenness about cooperating with Iraq in various fields.
