Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq receives the Secretary to the Iranian Higher National Security Council
Within the framework of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met Saeed Jaliko, secretary to the Iranian Higher National Security Council on Sundary, January 27, 2013. Both sides discussed the political conditions in the region and the current crises through which it is passing in addition to the good relations that link both countries. Both sides exchanged the congratulations on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Greatest Prophet (P) and his grandson, Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (as). His Eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), had participated in the 26thinternational conference of Islamic unity which was held in Tehran during the period from the January 27 – 28, 2013. He delivered a speech in the conference in which he discussed the Islamic Awakening and the circumstances through which Syria, Bahrain and Iraq are going.
