The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) meets the head of the Iranian Shura (consultative) Council
Within the frame of his visit of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met Sayyid Ali Larijani, head of the Iranian Shura (consultative) Council on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Both sides discussed the political situations in the area and the current crises through which it is passing in addition to the good relations that link both countries. Both sides exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the birth of the Greatest Prophet (P) and of his grandson, Imam Ja`far al-Sadiq (as). His Eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), had participated in the 26thinternational conference for the Islamic unity which was held in Tehran during the period from January 27 – 28, 2013 and delivered a speech in the conference in which he dealt with the Islamic awakening and the conditions through which Syria, Bahrain and Iraq are going.
