Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim visits senior religious authorities in al-Najaf al-Ashraf
His Eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), visited on Friday, February 15, 2013 the senior religious authorities in al-Najaf al-Ashraf: the senior authority Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammed-Saeed al-Hakim, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Basheer al-Najafi and Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Ishaq al-Fayyad separately.
His Eminence listed to the views of these senior religious authorities and valuable directives regarding the developments of the conditions in the country.
His Eminence provided a discussion of what is new on the political scene, stressing the viewpoint of the Supreme Council and of the Movement of the Martyr of the Niche that it is necessary to work according to the directives and recommendations of the senior religious authorities in order to solve the standing problem through calming down, holding a dialogue among the various Iraqi groups and addressing the Iraqi citizens’ legitimate demands according to the law and constitution.
