    During his meeting with the minister of youths and sports, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stresses the necessity of speeding up the completion of Basra city's sports projects in preparation for holding the Gulf 22 Championship

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), has stressed the necessity of speeding up the completion of the sports projects for Basra city and for holding the Gulf 22 Championship in the governorate.
    This came up when His Eminence met at his Baghdad office on Thursday, February 21, 2013 a large delegation from the Movement of Struggle and Building headed by Sayyid Hassan al-Sari, general secretary of the Movement.
    His Eminence stressed the necessity of removing injustice from the citizens of the Iraqi people from the Turkmen component, praising the sacrifices which Iraq's Turkmen offered for the sake of freedom, dignity and promising future.
