    During his meeting with a large delegation from the Movement of Struggle and Building in Iraq, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stresses that it is important that Law No. 91 should cover all strugglers, particularly those of the marshlands

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), has stressed the necessity of expanding Law No. 91 to cover all strugglers, particularly the strugglers of the marshlands, praising the sacrifices which the marshlands strugglers offered in defense of Islam, in serving Iraq and in supporting the wronged.
    This came up when His Eminence met at his Baghdad office a large delegation from the Movement of Struggle and Building headed by Sayyid Hassan al-Sari, the Movement's head, on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
    His Eminence also called during the meeting for awarding broad powers to the governorate councils according to the constitution, explaining that such broad powers can comfort all Iraqis and put work teams in the governorates before the criterion of how to raise the standard of the reality in the New Iraq.
    His Eminence pointed out to a statement by the Marty of the Niche (his soul be sanctified) that the victory which the Iraqi people scored was due to the blessing of the martyrs' blood, drawing attention at the same time to the continuous demands of Iraq's Aziz for addressing the legitimate demands and the rights of the citizens of Iraq, including those of the segment of the strugglers in the marshlands. He explained the keenness of His eminence and that of the Citizen Bloc about defending the rights of the people of Iraq by working on the ratification of the projects and laws in the parliament which affect justice to all segments of the Iraqi society.
