    U.S. Ambassador to Iraq appreciates Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim's role in maturing the national solutions for the political crises

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), welcomed at his Baghdad office the Ambassador of the United States of America to Iraq, Stephen Beecroft, on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.
    Both sides discussed the bilateral relations between both countries and the means for developing them in a way that serves both American and Iraqi nations. His Eminence explained that the New Iraq is open on everyone and is trying to develop its relations with everyone.
    On his part, the U.S. Ambassador lauded the efforts exerted by His Eminence to solve the current political crisis in the country, expressing his appreciation of calls of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim on the political contenders to hold dialogues, to calm and to strengthen the national unity.
