    essing the National Alliance's solidarity, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim meets Dr. al-Jaafari

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), met at his Baghdad office on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, the head of the National Alliance, Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari.
    His Eminence stressed the necessity of the Naitonal Alliance's cohesion and effort with the other blocs to get out of the current crisis, pointing out to the needs in the southern and western governorates being welcome if they fall within the constitution and are in harmony with the laws, regarding the elections as an honest competition among the blocs to get a modern electoral campaign that realizes the ambitions of the Iraqi voter. His Eminence added saying that the meetings with the Iraqi leaderships are natural, and in the shade of crises, they focus on the ways for finding solutions and proximity of viewpoints as well as how to serve the homeland and the citizen.
    On his part, Dr. al-Jaafari stressed that his meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discussed the latest developments of the political process and the speeding up of the wheel of the Iraqi parliament in order to ratify the important laws, including the budget, emphasizing that the current crisis is not impossible to resolve due to the good intentions and the efforts exerted by everyone to contain it.
