    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stresses solidarity of everyone's effort in order to get out of the current political crisis

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), has stressed the necessity of the solidarity of all good, moderate and rational forces in order to absorb the thrust of the current political situation, calling for removal of all problems that jeopardize and threaten the political process in Iraq. This came up when His Eminence met Dr. Shakir Kattab, general secretary of the Democratic National Labor Party, and the delegation accompanying him on Saturday, March 9, 2013.
    Both sides discussed the standing conditions in Iraq and region. Kattab lauded the speech of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim in the cultural forums in which he urged everyone to sit at the table of dialogue and to adhere to the constitution, regarding Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim's speech as one that touches on the citizen's senses and concerns.
