Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stresses the necessity of compensating strugglers of the marshlands financially and morally

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), has stressed the necessity of compensating the segment of the marshland strugglers financially and morally, emphasizing that the segment of the strugglers in the marshlands struggled and offered what is dear and precious for the sake of letting the word of the truth and the flag of Islam rise, and that it stood in the face of the Saddami regime.
This came up when His Eminence met representatives of the Movement of the Marshland Strugglers on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
On their part, representatives of the Movement of the Marshland Strugglers thanked His Eminence for well receiving them and for his continuous demands to compensate the martyrs' families, calling on His Eminence to sponsor the movement's conference for the electing of a general secretariat for the movement, lauding the efforts of His Eminence in solving the political crises in his capacity as the son of the highest religious authority (Marji`iyya) and the bearer of its flag.
