Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), welcomed on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his Baghdad office Muhammed al-Urabi, Egypt's former foreign minister. His Eminence stressed the necessity of developing the relations between Iraq and Egypt in order to serve the interests of both brotherly nations.
On his part, Urabi explained that his meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discussed the bilateral relations between both countries, pointing out that he acquainted His Eminence with the political situation in Egypt, explaining that the visit by Prime Minister Hisham Qandeel opened a new page in the Iraqi-Egyptian relations.
