Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), has stressed the necessity of the political forces bearing their responsibilities in calming down the political reality so the political fracture may not negatively reflect on the security situation, calling on the political groups to deal with flexibility and to sit at the dialogue table, stressing the necessity of using new security plans to stop the Iraqi bloodletting and to activate the intelligence network. This came up when His Eminence met a delegation from the Islamic Fadhila Party headed by the party's general secretary, Mr. Hashim al-Hashimi, on Thursday, March 21, 2013.
His Eminence stressed the necessity of adherence to the timings of the elections in all Iraqi governorates since the electoral process is the most important expression of the democratic system and of the peaceful transfer of power on all levels.
On his part, Ammar Tu`mah, head of the Fadhila Bloc in the parliament, stressed that the trends of the Fadhila Party in the security dossier fully agree with the trends of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim and with those of the brothers in the Supreme Council, pointing out to the necessity of the unity of the National Alliance and of issuing its decisions according to the National Alliance's internal system.
