Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Superior Council of Iraq, met the Vice-President Kodeir al-Khozai in his office in Baghdad on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
They discussed the political issues in Iraq and their last developments. His Eminence described the dialogue as the ultimate solution for the problems the political process in Iraq is facing. He also signaled that the last elections of the provincial local governments proved that all the Iraqis without exception were winners. He made a point of stressing the necessity to constitute the upcoming provincial councils within well-determined programs and a clear perception, while calling for pulling together so that these governments and their provinces succeed in serving the country and the citizens.
