    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Participates in the Islamic Awakening Conference in Tahran

    Sayyid Ammar al- Hakim, head of the Islamic Superior Council of Iraq, took part in the International Conference of Scholars and Islamic Awakening held in the Iranian Capital, Tahran, on Tuesday, April 29, 2013 with the participation of more than 700 clerics and scholars from different Islamic confessions.
    The Conference opened with the issues of the Islamic world, including topics such as Palestine, the sectarian rift and the Syrian crisis. 
    The expert committees composed of scholars from different Islamic sects held sessions to discuss the horizons and challenges of the Islamic Awakening, the resistance, the holy places, the sectarian rift and Islamophobia.
