Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Calls on the Political Class to Give a New Perspective of Cooperation in order to Achieve Success and Serve the Citizens

In a speech delivered in the occasion of the birthday of Fatima Zahra (AS) and the Iraqi Women's Day organized under his patronage in his office in Baghdad on Saturday, May 4, 2013, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Superior Council of Iraq, said setting apart powers and budgets, forming a competent and consistent team, and fairly distributing the roles, as well as drawing up a specific plan are vital for the success of the provinces, confirming the commitment to the pledges and programs set forth during the electoral campaign for the provincial councils.
His Eminence stated that the cooperation between the winning parties create stable, productive and obliging provinces, and that in order to set up successful local governments that meet the needs of the citizens, we must pull together, work hand in hand, run competent team and focus on carrying out our program, calling for setting apart the widest powers and the biggest budgets as set out in the constitution and according to the demographic proportions.
He also pointed that the Citizen Alliance has signed an honor code with the State of Law movement to regulate the relations during and after elections whatever the results are. According to him, the Citizen Alliance has made agreements with Al Ahrar Party prior to the elections.  His Eminence confirmed that such agreements were bases on cooperation, integration and success, calling on the political class to give a new perspective of cooperation and pull together while drawing up a specific plan and running candidates so the citizens can be better served.
