Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Addresses Erbil Citizens, "Diversity is the Destiny of Iraq and the Best Fate Destined by Allah to It"

While walking through the old market of Kayseri in the Ancient City of Citadel in Erbil, Wednesday, May 15, 2013, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim maintained that the diversity of Iraq and of its people is a source of power and wealth, and that diversity is the destiny of Iraq and the best fate destined by Allah to it. He also said the citizens of Erbil and the Iraqi Region of Kurdistan owe their kindness and greatness to the kindness and beauty of their fabulous mountains and nature.
During his tour, his Eminence met a number of Erbil people while going on a walking tour through the market to check on the living conditions of Erbil citizens. He also visited the ancient Maam Khalil coffee shop.
For their part, Erbil citizens gratefully thanked Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim for him being always in touch with his fellows in Kurdistan. They regarded his Eminence as the one who carries on down the path chosen by al-Hakim family whose members had always supported the Kurdish cause, recalling the fatwa of Imam Muhsin al-Hakim (may Allah sanctify his soul) prohibiting the fight against Kurds.
In fact, His Eminence was accompanied during the tour by the head of the Kurdish president's Bureau, Fouad Hussein, and the governor of Erbil as well.
