    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Meets Mohammed Faraj, Head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, and Stresses the Need for an Equation in Iraq that Reassures all Iraqi Components

    During a meeting with Mr. Mohammed Faraj, head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, at the latter's residence in Sulaymaniyah Thursday, May 16, 2013, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Superior Council of Iraq, has stressed the need for a well-defined vision in order to build the Iraqi state with an equation that reassures all the Iraqis, and also to embrace national partnership and promote dialogue as solution for all disputes. He has also called the political blocs to make an overture towards each other.
    Moreover, his Eminence said all political blocs must cooperate to build and develop Iraq since the last elections produced new equilibriums, adding that serving citizens must be the concern of whoever holds office.
    For his part, Mr. Mohammed Faraj underlined the historical ties between the Kurds and the Islamic Superior Council of Iraq, considering dialogue and peaceful rhetoric as the best solution for disputes.
