Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Superior Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad Friday, May 17, 2013 the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mr. Nouri al-Maliki.
During the meeting, both have discussed the developments of the current political and security situations in Iraq, and the Eminence's latest visit to the Iraqi Region of Kurdistan as well as his talks with the Kurd officials concerning the ties between the Council and the Region and how to get over their disputes.
They have also talked over the current discussions about the coalitions aiming to form powerful, consistent local governments able to provide better services to citizens.
