During the Extended Shura Meeting Held by the Martyr of the Niche Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Stresses the Commitment to the Electoral Platform of the Citizen Alliance

During the extended Shura meeting held by the Martyr of the Niche movement in his Eminence's office in Baghdad, Monday, May 20, 2013, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Superior Council of Iraq, stressed the necessity of being committed to the electoral platform of the Citizen Alliance, urging all parties to pull together so as to form consistent, competent teams that can provide citizens with services, while strongly condemning the constant bloodshed in Iraq through explosions and assassinations. He has also called to update the security plans and to increase the efficiency of the intelligence efforts in order to protect the citizens from being targeted and to anticipate actions against terrorists.
Moreover, His Eminence has highlighted the need to communicate with the people and hear their complaints through direct contact with them and to work on meeting their needs, since the value of officials lies in the trust of the public and the efforts made by them to serve it, also according to his Eminence.
