Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim stressed the importance of consolidating Iraq’s relations with the Czech Republic in various areas, so as to contribute in serving the interests of the two peoples and countries, indicating the significance of granting Iraqi students opportunities to study and benefit from the expertise in Czech to build and develop Iraq.
This statement was made by the Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, while receiving, on Monday July 1st, 2013, in his Baghdad office, the Senate Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Czech Republic chaired by Mr. Jozef Regec, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Baghdad, Alexander Langer.
The delegation chairman expressed his pleasure to meet Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, and described as successful the discussions that His Eminence held with the delegation, affirming his country’s keenness on deepening relations between the two countries, especially in the industrial, cultural and other areas.
