Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad, Saturday, 6/7/2013, the delegation of the political body of the Sadrist Movement headed by Karar al-Khafaji, stressing the necessity of sticking to the national alliance and passing the laws that are in the best interest of the citizens. He also said it is necessary to pull together in order for the current provincial council to be a success.
For his part, the deputy Bahaa al-Aaraji praised the opinions of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, saying the Iraqi people is comfortable about the rapprochement between al-Ahrar Bloc and that of the Citizen Alliance.
