During the fifth Ramadan Night Event, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim: Excessive Prides Makes Us Narcissistic

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, said men live a material life where they deal with tangible things, but Allah, the Almighty, wanted to harness all these tangible things for more profound purposes. He underlined the necessity of recalling such significances in all worships, stressing that the Tawaf around the the Kaaba is about focusing on monotheism and adhering to Allah, the One and Only, and that walking back and forth between al Safa and al Marwah represents the fact of escaping from the sins towards the obedience of Allah. His Eminence said that controlling our rhythms, directing our active and passive acts towards Allah and consciously exploiting them in His obedience are the fruits of such recall.
This came during the fifth Ramadan night event held in Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim's office Thursday 18/7/2013.
His Eminence pointed that Allah, the Almighty, admits to his Janna Whom He will among his servants by their sincere intention and their good inner thoughts and feelings, showing that the reward would be by uttering good words and preaching with what is useful to remember Allah, and also by the sincere intention and the good inner thoughts and feelings. He explained that the dua culture is something of great importance, prompting everybody to develop a culture of the right demand and not to ask selfish and personal demands when praying to Allah, warning men from yielding to arrogance, greed, hypocrisy and other flaws that prevent them from obeying Allah and serving the society.
