Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met Friday, 19/7/2013, in his office in Baghdad, with the secretary-general of the Iraqi Islamic Party, Mr. Ayad al-Samarrai. 
During the meetings, they have discussed the developments in Iraq, and the efforts made to activate the local governments of the provinces, as well as the mechanism of the joint action between the political blocs, in order to provide the services and implement the projects that are in the best interest of the citizens and the country.
