In the Eighth Ramadan Night Gathering, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim: Through Obedience to Allah, We Cross the Legislative Path in Life, and Whoever Crosses it is Capable of Doing so in the Afterlife

Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim affirmed that the legislative path is particular to humans only of all creatures, for it is related to the legislative system and injunction of law that are imposed by Allah the Almighty on humans to achieve perfection through them. His Eminence explained that committing to these legislations achieves the wholeness of humans in their behavior and in their road towards Allah the Almighty.
He stressed that whoever obeys Allah, performs the duties and stays away from the prohibitions is considered to have crossed the legislative path in life, indicating that whoever crosses the path in life is capable of crossing it in the afterlife.
This came during the eighth Ramadan night gathering held at his Eminence’s office in Baghdad, on Sunday, 21/7/2013.
His Eminence pointed that humans cannot combine truth and falsehood, because the truth is light and falsehood is darkness, considering that the love of Ahl Al Bayt (AS) and the love of their enemies cannot come together in a believer’s heart, and adding that the heart is either enlightened and guided by the love of Ahl Al Bayt (AS) and crosses the path, or is dark and falls in the abyss, in the love of the enemies of truth. This love cannot be combined with that love.
His Eminence clarified that, among the major issues in a believer’s faith, is to follow the truth and the people of truth and to renounce falsehood and the people of falsehood, quoting the famous story and dialogue that took place between Imam Al Kazem and Safwan Al Jamal about the issue of not providing help to the oppressors even if the apparent reason pertains to humanitarian and religious purposes.
