Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim pointed to the pledge of Amir Al Muminin (AS) to Malik Al Ashtar regarding the need to use people characterized with honesty and loyalty to conduct the process of inspection, revision and monitoring of officials and leaders, assuring that the complimentarily of the reports made by these honest and loyal people concerning the integrity or treason of this or that official is a solid proof to keep him or remove him from his post. His Eminence stressed the importance of ensuring gentleness and care to citizens as opposed to resorting to punishment and roughness with criminals and traitors.
This came during the thirteenth Ramadan night gathering held at His Eminence’s office in Baghdad, on Friday, 26/7/2013.
Mentioning the seventh right in the “Treatise on Rights” of Imam Zayn al Abidin (AS), the right of the hand, His Eminence explained that there are unlawful acts that the hand should be kept from doing and other acts that are desired to be done by the hand. Also there are acts that are undesirable for the hand to do. He pointed out that the hand is sometimes used not to designate the organ itself but to indicate power and ability, or sometimes negligence of unlawful acts, or the loss of some rights at times.
